Wavy Hair and Coleman Ranahan

Coleman Ranahan is a Chicago filmmaker studying screenwriting at Columbia College of Chicago. Coleman doesn’t like to limit himself to just writing though, he is also a director, production assistant, and sometimes has a beard.

Coleman was the former host of The Coleman Ranahan Podcast. Starting in 2008 after becoming an intern at WRHL 1060 AM and 102.3 FM SAM, Coleman decided to take his voice to the podcasting world and started out with simple movie reviews. Later on the podcast took on a different life with odd comedy bits surrounding jazz music, while the heart of the podcast still focused on film reviews. Coleman discontinued the podcast mid 2011 to focus on directing and writing.

Coleman is a frequent contributor to the Cameron Watches Movies podcast available on the deliberate noise network.

When Coleman isn’t at school or on a train he is usually found working hard on sets or perusing the craft service tables when a production is around.
