Wavy Hair and Coleman Ranahan

Over the years there have come a few times where I have been accused of being ungrateful and noticeably absent minded to a many people. People think that I am not thankful for what people are providing for me and that I just want to take and take and move on.

I can understand that perspective, and see instances where that would be true, but I would just like to say that I am completely the opposite of that fact. I am always thankful for everything that everyone gives me or the hospitality they show me.

I just unfortunately have a hard time of saying thank you. Coming from a house where everything is negative, people are always being told to shut up, or being called an idiot, I just shut down. I have instances where I just enjoy observing people and I’d rather observe than talk and it just creeps in at the weirdest times.

So please, if you think there is an instance where I’m being incredibly ungrateful, please trust that I am more than incredibly GRATEFUL. It’s taking me a while to bust out of that shell, but I’m trying.

I’m trying my best to just say “Thank You” without even thinking. The instance where you say it I just blurt it without even thinking. If I think about it for more than a second, I shut down and find myself not actually saying it. Weird, I know. But I’m believe me, I’m trying.

So, I think it goes without saying (no pun intended), thank you everyone. (Also, not sure why a lot of my images are cat related, but still, thanks!)
